Creamer Media​

Creamer Media was launched by journalist Martin Creamer on Friday 13 of March 1981. Creamer Media’s first title was a fortnightly newspaper called Engineering News. It soon became a very successful weekly newspaper increasingly well-respected by industrial and mining decision-makers as a crucial source of business news and information. In the 1990s, Mining Weekly was launched as an additional publication distributed each week with Engineering News. With the advent of the internet and digital media, the daily news sites EngineeringNews.co.za, MiningWeekly.com, ResearchChannel.com and Polity.org.za were all launched in the early 2000s – at the same time the weekly newspapers Engineering News and Mining Weekly were redesigned into a news magazine format.
